MAD Solutions Takes Part in the Creatives4Good Competition in the UAE

MAD Solutions has revealed its participation in one of the workshops during the Creatives4Goods
competition in the UAE that is launched by twofour54, Abu Dhabi's media and entertainment hub, and National Media Council (NMC) from November 21-23.

The workshop will be run by Abdallah Al Shami, Managing Partner at MAD Solutions, on Wednesday, November 22 at 12:45 PM for one hour. The workshop's main topic will be about how to distribute and sell films, and will also talk about the importance of social media platforms in film distribution.

Commenting on this opportunity, Abdallah Al Shami says, "I'm thrilled to be running one of the workshops during the Creatives4Goods mentoring sessions."

Al Shami adds, "We have so much creative talent in this region, and it's important that the media and creative industries play an active role in mentoring, nurturing, and developing the filmmakers, writers, directors, and creators of tomorrow. Creatives4Good is an important step in the right direction in fostering a collaborative, supportive ecosystem where talent can thrive."

The Creatives4Goods competition aims to encourage and support the UAE's creative community inspired by the 'Year of Giving' initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. twofour54 is receiving applications to the competition on its website www.twofour54.com. The competition is open to Arabic and English speakers who are either, UAE nationals or residents, aged 18-35. To enter, participants must submit a minute-long video that defines 'creativity'. Interested participants have until November 11, 2017 to submit their applications. twofour54 will review all applications and shortlist finalists to attend a three-day mentoring workshop.

During the mentoring workshop, selected participants will be split into five groups comprising three members each. They will learn from leading figures in the media industry, and work together in groups to compete on a final project, where the winning team will win AED 60,000.
