Hepta: The Last Lecture Receives Skyrocketing Acclaim among Facebook Fans


Within only one day following its in Egyptian cinemas, Hadi El Bagoury's film Hepta: The Last Lecture received a wave of wide acclaim among Facebook fans, as several filmmakers, public figures and film stars expressed their admiration on their Facebook accounts.

Through his official page, Director Marwan Hamed commented "Hepta: The Last Lecture is a wonderful cinematic adaptation for a well-known novel." Also, star Ahmad Al Fishawy commented, "I loved the film so much and the actors. Congratulations, my friend Director Hadi El Bagoury for this creative film."

Star Engy Wegdan also posted, "Hepta is worth watching with a well-knitted story ... It's really a good film." Abbas Aboul Hassan also said, "Hepta is a wonderful film about the complicated nature of relationships and love." While film critic Magda Khiralla praised star Shereen Reda's performance stating, "When silence tells a story... Shereen Reda in Hepta."

A number of public figures also praised the film and its cast including Scriptwriter Tamer Habib, Star Saba Mubarak, young Director Mavie Maher, TV Presenter Lana Jundi and Businessman Naguib Sawiris who said, "Hepta is a powerful and touching film, thanks to the film director, stars and writer."

The screen play is based on Mohamed Sadek's best-selling book, which portrays the seven stages of love through four paralleled stories. Mohamed Sadek's novel topped the charts in Egypt and throughout the Arab world for several weeks, and sold 36 editions since its release in 2014.

The film cast list includes: Amr Youssef, Maged El Kedwany, Ahmed Malek, Ahmed Dawood, Dina El Sherbiny, Yasmine Raeis, Jamila Awad, Hany Adel, Ahmed Bedeir, together with Salwa Mohamed Aly, Kinda Alloush, Anoushka, Mohamed Farrag, and Nelly Karim, along with Shereen Reda and the two kids, Abdallah Azmi and Lina Ben Haman.

The film is a joint production between The Producers, which is co-founded by Hani Osama and Hadi El Bagoury, Film Clinic of Mohamed Hefzy and iProductions of Amgad Sabry. The cinematic adaption of the film is scripted by Wael Hamdy. The film's crew includes Directors of Photography Gamal El Boushy and Leo Carbotta, a long side Production Designer Hend Haidar and Production Manager Mohamed El Hady.
