Hadi El Bagoury Misses His Honoring as Best Music Video Director due to His Father's Death


At the opening ceremony of the 4th edition of the Cairo Mondial for Media and Artistic Works, Ibrahim Abu Zekri, head of The General Union for Arab Producers, has announced director Hadi El Bagoury as Best Music Video Director for his oeuvre as a director for music videos. Held on Sunday 11 October, unfortunately Hadi El Bagoury missed his honoring due to his father's death.

Hadi El Bagoury has directed several music videos for an extensive number of the Arab world's big-name singers and celebrities including such as Angham, Haifa Wehbe, Samira Said and Saber El Roubayi, to name a few.

El Bagoury's directorial repertoire includes several commercial ads and music videos through which he worked with several prominent and leading Arab singers, as well as films and TV series such as Ard Khas, Wahed Sahih which won the Best First Film of a Director award at the Egyption National Cinema Center and the thriller film Warda.
