Engy Wegdan Joins Essam Wel Mesbah 3

Egyptian actress Engy Wegdan takes part in the third season of the successful animation TV series Essam Wel Mesbah (Essam and the Magic Lamp), which is set to air on television during Ramadan 2016. Engy Wegdan will perform the voice of a student who joins the journalism club at school, and constantly tries to hold interviews with the characters of the series.

The TV series returns to the screen after a four-year hiatus since the great success of season 2 in 2012.

The story follows Essam, younger brother of the well-known legendary hero Aladdin, who puts off his dreams and ambitions until he finds a magic lamp like his brother's. Essam already finds a magic lamp and a genie comes out, however it's a new kind of a genie.

Alongside Engy Wegdan, Essam Wel Mesbah's main characters feature the voices of Moustafa Amar, Mohi Ismail, Nesma Mahgoub, and Mohamed Farid.

Egyptian star Engy Wegdan had previously expressed her happiness for her voice performance and dubbing experience in season 2 of Essam Wel Mesbah, stressing on her enjoyment working on this and hoped to go through the experience again in other works for children.
