Ahmad Al Fishawy Signs a Joint Production Deal with Misr International Films for New Film Ala Ma Tofrag

Bringing about the 2nd production for his Cairo-based production slate Crystal Dog, Egyptian film star Ahmad Al Fishawy has signed a co-production deal with Misr International Films on his upcoming feature film Ala Ma Tofrag, which will be helmed by Syrian director Assad Fouladkar.

Ala Ma Tofrag is a social romantic-comedy about a young singer who falls in love with two women; one is very religious and the other is very liberal. He becomes very close to both of them, however he faces several issues due to their conflicting ways of thinking, which put him in various amusing situations.

In a statement, Ahmad Al Fishawy said, "it is an honour to collaborate with Misr International Films in producing Ala Ma Tofrag, especially that it's the first production they have made since the legendry director Yousef Chahin passed away."

Crystal Dog, named after a Swarovski design spotted by Al Fishawy on one of his trips, is mainly focused on providing a wide range of quality-driven cinematic productions. The main goal behind every Crystal Dog production is to create attention-grabbing content that can help develop both the local and regional film industries. Most recently, Crystal Dog produced the film Out Of Order starring Ahmad Al Fishawy opposite Shereen Reda.
